The PERFECT diet… (FOK)

Home » Uncategorized » The PERFECT diet… (FOK)

For many of us, Forks Over Knives presented more questions than it actually answered. The good thing is… it got us to think about the food choices we make each day, and to make a change for the better.

We can ask 100 nutritionist what we ‘should’ eat…and will most likely get 100 different answers. So there is not an ultimate right or wrong in life. It applies in all areas: relationships, money, career, education….when we let go of the false belief that there is a perfect and right path for us, we can actually start to focus on living.

Too often, we overcomplicate the process of change. This doesn’t have to be so dramatic. We wait for a great moment, turning point, an inspiration. Forget it. Just begin. You might not finish. But if you want to get rid of a bad habit– Just begin.

Once you start, you just might build a little momentum. Make small changes… eat a little less meat this week and see how you feel. If it works for you great, continue with it– if it doesn’t, try something else. Think dairy might be bad? Try going without it a while, see how you feel.

Don’t wait for the golden moment. The turning point. The perfect diet. There isn’t one. If you want to change something in your life, don’t plan to change the whole thing at once. Just begin.

Namaste,
Lisa
