Founder of EC Yoga Sol, Lisa has been practicing and teaching for almost 10 years. She blends a wealth of knowledge and experience to create a harmonious, breath-centered practice that is juicy, soulful, and dynamic.
Effortlessly guiding anyone who comes to the mat to a place of inner calm, Lisa helps students disconnect from the craziness of daily life through breath, movement, mindfulness, and meditation. Her classes are infused with heart, humor, and inquiry providing a playful space to cultivate greater body intelligence.
Lisa is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Teacher (ERYT), and is trained in Mindfulness Bases Stress Reduction (MBSR). Having recently completed her training with the Mindfulness in Schools Project, Lisa is a Certified .b Teacher enabling to her to teach MiSP’s Mindfulness course for teens. She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and a Certified ITPA Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT). Lisa is honored to serve as Faculty Member for the US Tennis Congress and Yoga Trainer for the Ginepri Performance Tennis Academy.
Lisa is mom of two daughters Jordyn and Katie, the two loves of her life. She currently enjoys teaching private, small, and large group classes with a passion to help serve and connect the East Cobb community.
Susan Palace MBA,RYT,IYT
Susan Palace is one of Atlanta ‘s most experienced yoga teachers. She has been studying yoga since 1984 and sharing her yoga passion as a teacher since 1990. With training in many forms of yoga–Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Kundalini, Bikrim, Kripalu, Integrative Yoga Therapy and YogaKids — Susan brings inspired wisdom to her classes and can customize sequences based on student needs. She teaches her Executive Stretch program and Relax for Success workshops at businesses, schools and organizations. After teaching her own children yoga, Susan was inspired to create KidVisions, a nationally distributed audio CD teaching children the value of relaxation and guided imagery. She received her MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and has numerous teacher training certifications. Susan is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), a Certified Integrative Yoga Therapist (IYT) and a COPE (Center for Obesity Prevention and Education) Certified Health and Weight Loss Coach working daily with adults, children and teens on creating wellbeing from within and awakening their full potential!
Chrys Kub, MPT, E-RYT 500
Chrys received her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern Californiain 1987. She has expertise in neurodevelopmental therapy, orthopedics, myofascial release and biomechanical assessment. She is a yoga alliance registered instructor at the 500 Hour educator level. Chrys is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and has presented at the Symposium for Yoga Therapy and Research in 2009 and 2011. She has extensive experience in the fitness industry as a group exercise leader and ACE certified personal trainer sincd 1988. Chrys presented workshops nationally for Disabled Sports USA in Adaptive Fitness for personas with disabilities. Chrys is currently leading teacher training intensives for LeeannCarey Yoga in the Yaapana Yoga style and is creator of the Structural Assessment Teacher Intensive for Yaapana Yoga. She is the lead instructor for the Yoga Club 200 and 500 Hour Teacher Training program. For the past 10 years, Chrys has instructed hundreds of aspiring and current yoga teachers in yoga therapeutics through conferences and workshops at yoga studios throughout the country. She currently is owner and director of BalancedBody Yoga Therapy, working one on one with persons seeking health and healing through yoga therapeutics. Chrys has two children, is an avid cyclist and loves traveling and experiencing the outdoors.
Karen Princenthal, RYT- 200
Karen is a 200 hour RYT. She received her certification through Yogaworks and is currently registered with Yoga Alliance. Karen began practicing yoga about 10 years ago and after her first class she was hooked! Although she began to practice for the physical benefits, it was the mental benefits that kept her coming back to the mat. Yoga has given Karen the tools to deal with stress and anxiety and quiet the mind. That sense of calm and peacefulness is what she would like to share with her students.Karen enjoys spending time with her family, especially in the great outdoors. They enjoy hiking, kayaking or any activities that bring them closer to nature.
