Mindfulness Meditation Classes:

Starts June 7, 2016 – See class schedule for class times

Join us for guided mindfulness meditation practice where all-level practitioners are welcome.  Led by Lisa Wellstead, we start with a short breath-centered meditation followed by a mini-explanation of one of the core skills of mindfulness drawn from either MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy), or Yoga Therapeutics.  We’ll share insights drawn from the latest neuroscience research to deepen your understanding of mind body intelligence and practicing our key skill, we’ll explore guided meditation or a mindful exercise for 20-35 minutes.  We end class with a brief a discussion and inquiry for integrating the training skills in our daily life and sharing further resources to deepen our practice.

Our Intention is to guide you in accessing your own deep inner-resources for learning, growing, and healing; cultivating the conditions to quiet the mind, focus, and respond more skillfully to stress from a higher place of consciousness as part of our evolutionary potential.

We meet all summer long, with the exception of  the Fourth of July Holiday week and the week of Aug 22-29.  Drop-Ins welcome.
